Apache Downs currently has the following services available…please feel free to contact us with any questions or to schedule an appointment.

Beginner Western Riding lessons - $35.00 per hour ages 8-adult ($20.00 / half hour)

Learn basic daily care of your horse – hands on exercise with your horse or mine
*** learn basic care with hands on instruction (administer wormer, proper hoof
cleaning and maintenance, when your horse needs dental attention- how you can
tell, weekly coat maintenance, wound dressing, clipping (also includes
instruction to work with your horse to accept the clipper), fly spray/control,
winter horse care review / winter colic - $35.00 per hour

Ground Handling Training - Learn how to work with your horse to insure better
Ground handling manners ..training to include;
basic lead line lesson, NSEW lesson, head down cue, proper bridle/saddle
technique, giving to the bit ground lesson, trailer loading, round pen training,
also tackle problems such as stall manners, cleaning hooves with ease, and spay
bottle/clipper acceptance, sacking out your horse.
$35.00 per hour

On call - APPROXIMATELY $40.00 PER HOUR (spreader or back loader must be available / on site dumping)
