Hello and Welcome to the Apache Downs Website !  Apache Downs is a 10-acre farm located in Southern New Jersey.  Our farm is home to horses, Rhode Island Red chickens, Muscovy Ducks, Nigerian Dwarf Goats, and Guinea Hens.  We consider what we do a lifestyle and we love what we do.  Apache Downs is proud to provide you with Muscovy ducks, guinea hens, and of course our Nigerian Dwarfs. We are fully committed to providing you with happy and healthy pets and a wonderful experience.

Apache Downs is registered with the American Goat Society and can be registered with ADGA also.  All our animals are tested annually for CAE, CL, JOHNES, TB, & Brucellous (does) and we take pride in our Biosecurity practices to provide you with disease free animals. We are involved in the Gloucester County 4H goat club (Hoof Prints) and look forward to participating in the upcoming 4H and AGS shows.

We have invested a lot of time and research in choosing our foundation stock for Apache Downs and believe we have acquired some excellent Nigerians for our breeding program.  In our research we focused on confirmation and strong dairy character, milk production,  then size and color.  We were particular to confirmation of the top line, width and mammary production, rear angle, legs, and only purchased from disease free herds.  For our 2008 breeding program we researched many Bucks and have chosen only ones with excellent  confirmation  whose traits are proven in the breeding process as well as the show ring.  Many thanks to Teri Stanton from Pocket Sized Goats for the services of two of her outstanding Bucks for my breeding program  (MCH Doe-Sy-Doe FS Victory Flame *S E /  2007 AGS National Champion Buck & Pocket Sized BT Wichita *S / First in his class at the 2007 AGS National Goat Show also Best in show at the ADGA PDGS show June, 15 2007 as a yearling ).

For our 2009 breeding program we have brought on board top sires to improve on udder genetics and dairy confirmation such as...Kaapio Acres Silver Bullet (a product of two exceptional parents PGCH Brush Creek Smokin Gun & CH/MCH/PGCH Kaapio Acres Red’s Scarlet !!!), Laurel Haven RZ Pisces (Tranquility Acres Rocky *S & NC Promisedland L Zodiac) , and our retained buck, Apache Downs VW Maska, (again a product of outstanding breeding from MCH Doe-sy-Doe FS Victory Flame *S E & Pocket Sized BT Waffle) ... and stay in touch for our new additon coming soon from God's Love Farm...an exceptional blue eyed sire with top notch mammary genetics !!!!
